I need to indent text data in a cell with upon each entry the same way you would be able to format a paragraph in Word with the 'space above and space below' options. I thought I found exactly what I needed in Excel Help which states exactly the following:
'To indent text from the left, right, or both sides of the cell, in the Horizontal box, click Left (Indent), Right (Indent), or Distributed (Indent). Then, in the Indent box, click the amount of indent you want.'
'To indent text from the top, bottom, or both top and bottom of the cell, in the Vertical box, click Top (Indent), Bottom (Indent), or Distributed. Then, in the Indent box, click the amount of indent you want.'
The problem is that when I go to the Vertical Alignment, I do NOT have either of those options. (The 'Top (Indent)' or the 'Bottom (Indent)'). I DO have the 'Left (Indent)' and 'Right (Indent)' in the Horizontal Alignment area.
Any ideas where my Top (Indent) and Bottom (Indent) options are??

How to Indent Text With Bullets in Excel. Microsoft Excel 2010 does not include a bullet button on the command ribbon. However, you can still create an indented, bulleted list using shortcut. Moves in the left side of the paragraph by the amount you choose. Moves in the right side of the paragraph by the amount you choose. Select First line to indent the first line of a paragraph, and then specify the size of the indent in By. Select Hanging to create a hanging indent, and then specify the size of the indent in By.

For those of you that know what an indented BOM is this will make perfect sense.
Below is what I have tried and failed at, so it may not be possible to do what I want but I'm sure someone can come up with Plan B.

e.g. C2 will have the formula: =IF(A2=2,F2,')...D2 will have the formula: =IF(A2=3,F3,')
etc.
So the issue is that the formulas keep the adjoining cells from displaying all of the F column info and will display only what fits into the cell.1. Is there a way for all of the information to display across cells with formulas..OR
2. Using Example 2, below, is there a way to indent the information in the same column (B) by reading column A?- Navigation
